Video

California Video !

^I made this video of Hannah and my California trip. It's not that great because it was my first time using iMovie. But I learned a lot! I think my next video will be a lot better. Maybe I can do these kinda movie things when I'm in Japan if I don't get too lazy..

Cali

I went to California for the last 2 weeks and I just got home on Saturday. School's over. I had 2 finals so it was really chill. Hannah and I stayed at her dad's place near LA. We went to the beach, the mall, Hollywood, the Anatolia Festival, Santa Monica Pier and Knott's Berry Farm amusement park.

Now I'm back home and I got to see my grandma, go swimming with Lindsey and today I'm leaving for Brant Lake with my parents. Allie and Christa are meeting us up there and staying until Friday. It's going to be super rad.

Not really missing school yet because I'm so busy. We got grades the other day and I did really well. My academic goals that I set at the beginning of the semester were waaaay achieved. I rawk :)

Last Semester's Goals:

#1)Get a SIX PACK!!!
#2) Get a B+ OR ABOVE in all my classes
#3) Find something FUN TO DO OVER THE SUMMER if I don't get into the study abroad program I applied to (which I will not...)

...Except I never got a 6 pack. But my abs do look toned and AWESOME. So that's pretty much a 2.5/3

YO.

I'm bloggling from my super brand new computer. This thing is a machine. It's a macbook pro and all my PC lover friends say they're gonna murder me but the transition from pc to mac was as smooth as a baby's butt

Let me tell you a bit about my circumstances. It's reading period before finals week. Officially finals begin on 8AM on Tuesday. ..and I haven't really done much. Yesterday the rents came by and got a bunch of crap from my room. I threw away lots of things and that always makes me feel a little bit guilty...especially when they're useless plastic things that are all gonna sit in landfills for the next million years...
Even though yesterday was Pride Parade in NoHo, I had to miss it to pack. But after it was over, my parents took me out to eat in town and I also bought some expensive jeans at urban outfitters.

Today I studied a bit but its mostly been a party. We had an ice-cream partay at Val's which was totally awesome. Her dog is so cute because its eyeballs bug out so much. After that I came back and changed because it was hotter than hell, and went to another get-together for my BIO330 class. Heather our professor came. She rocks. She wrote my recommendation for the Alabama program. Anyways, only 2 other people showed up but that was OK because I still had a really good time. Heather brought a big thing of strawberries and because there weren't that many people I got to eat a TON.

It's still hot out. O God its like 70. How am I gonna deal with Alabama..

Last week was really interesting and harsh. Wednesday night I went with Alicen and InKyung into town and we played ultimate Frisbee i the dark with some other people from UMASS/ townies (?). I didn't know anybody but it was the best time ever. I haven't played games like that since middle school probably. I also showed them "magical bush" which is this big bush that leads out the the levies. It was pretty spooky in the dark.

Friday I went to the East Asian Department party and ate some food and then to Midday Madness on Chapin Lawn. It was a BBQ and they were making burgers/ hot dogs. Later, I went into town with Kaguru and then we watched TANBARINGU (TUMBLING), the new J-drama that isn't yet subtitled. It is EPIC.

Plot: A high school delinquent joins a men's tumbling team to impress a girl (?) and comes to find that he enjoys the feeling of tight spandex against his skin-->

Dahaha. I haven't quite gotten to the part where they all wear leotards but I'm working on it. The amazing thing is that I think only one of them in the show is supposed to be gay (lower left corner)!

Later that night I hung out with Hannah and we drank bubble tea, went up the the roof of Seelye to see the stars and then watched the Princess Bride on Seelye lawn. It was a really good night. All I have to do now is worry about finals and then I'll be in Caaaaali~
