Recently I went on an optional field trip to Boston with my Economic Botany class. The class was interesting but the field trip was the icing on the cake. We got to see the glass flowers and museum at Harvard U, tour Taza chocolate factory and eat free samples until we felt sick, get behind the scenes access to the Arnold Arboretum, and finally finish up the day at the Sam Adam's Brewery to take a tour of the facilities and try some beer. Later on, our prof even treated us to dinner and beers.
